The Associate Network Planning Analyst supports the Network Planning Team by helping plan the capacity Southwest Airlines flies in each schedule through performance and flight schedule analysis. Theyâll analyze key performance indicators, explain trends and variances, and support operational and financial decisionâmaking while developing a foundational understanding of airline scheduling and optimization.
Requirements
- Learn in a Team environment and individually to understand basic skills needed in Network Planning
- Learn data sources, analysis methods, and calculations of key schedule, commercial, and operational metrics for gaining a baseline knowledge of how flight schedule decisions impact the different Teams across the Company
- Use data analytical tools including simulation and forecasting to evaluate and recommend efficiencies for schedule and operational improvements
