The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing and executing daily accounting tasks, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting senior leadership with insightful financial reporting.
Requirements
- Oversee general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile balance sheets, bank accounts, and other financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and manage audit processes.
- Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to assist management with strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed.
- Identify opportunities for cost reductions and financial process improvements.
