Job Description
Join Sparksoft, a catalyst for change, as a Controller/Sr. Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations, ensure compliance with federal regulations, and support the financial health of the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in government contracting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA standards
- Experience managing accounting teams and leading month-end close cycles
- Hands-on experience with a GovCon accounting system (Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- CPA, CMA, or CGFM certification (preferred)
- Experience supporting DCAA audits and preparing incurred cost submissions
- Prior experience in a small-to-mid-sized government contractor environment
