Accountant I - Retail

As a member of the C&S Wholesale Grocers family of companies, SpartanNash is a food solutions company that delivers the ingredients for a better life. We're looking for an Accountant I to perform general accounting responsibilities, including journal entries and account reconciliations, to provide accurate and useful information for management review and decision making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or another related field
• One year of Accountant/Accounting experience strongly preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good organization and analytical skills; attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize
• General knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficient in MS Office (Access, Excel, Word)
