Job Description
We are looking for a talented dental assistant to assist our Oral Surgeon in a busy specialty practice. The ideal candidate is experienced with oral surgery, has excellent communication skills, and is a team player. The role involves preparing the surgical area, assisting the surgeon, and maintaining patient comfort and safety.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience as dental assistant, Oral Surgery specialty is preferred
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A strong attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- A high school diploma
- A certificate from an accredited surgical assistant program (if required by law)
- An active state radiology license (if required by law)
- Experience with dental x-ray (licensed)
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
