Technical Marketing Writer

Spectra Logic is seeking a Technical Marketing Writer to create authoritative, technically rigorous content and develop external thought leadership. The ideal candidate combines strong writing skills with deep technical knowledge of data storage technologies and a clear understanding of operational and business challenges organizations face when managing data at scale.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technical marketing, technical writing, sales engineering, solutions architecture, or a related enterprise IT role.
• Strong technical understanding of data storage technologies, infrastructure architectures, and data lifecycle management challenges.
• Demonstrated experience personally authoring long-form technical content.
• Ability to understand and clearly communicate customer pain points, operational challenges, and industry trends in a technically credible and engaging way.
• Experience presenting technical material through webinars, conferences, videos, or customer-facing sessions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed and comfortable managing projects independently from concept through final delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
