Job Description
The EEG Technician is an entry to mid-level position that performs EEG procedures according to department and Corewell Health policy and procedures. The Neurodiagnostic team is comprised of EEG Technologists, EEG Technicians and Neurodiagnostic Assistants who work together to set up patients with appropriate equipment, allowing for monitoring and recording of electrical activity of a patient’s brain waves.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Associates Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electro neurodiagnostic (END) Program Preferred
- 6 Months Relevant Neurodiagnostic/EEG Experience Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
