Medical Assistant III Ambulatory Float Pool

Corewell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant III to join its Ambulatory Float Pool. The successful candidate will assist in clinical activities, patient care management, and office efficiencies, while promoting customer satisfaction and embodying the 'Service First' philosophy. The role will involve performing technical procedures, lab protocols, and clinically oriented activities under physician/provider direction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a competency-based accredited MA program, including a clinical rotation, or equivalent experience
• 1 year (12 months) MA experience; or completed CH MA internship and (6) months MA experience; or completed CH MA apprenticeship program
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 30 days from hire Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 30 days from hire
• CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA) - AAMA American Association of Medical Assistants 90 Days Or CRT-Medical Assistant, Registered (RMA) - AMT American Medical Technologists 90 Days Or CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (NCMA) - NCCT National Center for Competency Testing 90 Days Or CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (CCMA) - NHA National Healthcareer Association 90 Days Or CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (NRCMA) - NAHP National Association for Health Professionals Or LIC-License Practical Nursing (LPN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire
