Job Description
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs imaging and non-imaging procedures on patients and/or patient samples using radioactive tracers. The role requires knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures, the appropriate computer analysis to generate a patient result, and patient care. The NMT follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
Requirements
- Required associate's degree
- Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program
- CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association
