Polysomnographic Technologist

Polysomnographic Technologist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. Performs polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, or patient care and education. May supervise other staff.

Requirements

• Formal training in polysomnography program
• Current American Heart Association BLS Provider certification
• Board Certified examinations with Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technology (BRPT), National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM)- certification or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of experience preferred
