Job Description
Responsible for maintaining a safe and peaceful environment for all individuals on hospital property. Performs various duties such as patrolling campus, enforcing rules and regulations, and investigating suspected crimes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two to three years’ law-enforcement related work experience as a police officer; hospital security, corporate security, reserve police officer or military police
- Ability to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other dangerous incidents
- Electronic Control Devices (ECD) use approval and authorization by the Director
- Current Carry Pistol License (CPL) license and successful completion of the specialized Taser Training Course
- LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA (American Heart Association) 90 Days
- CRT-Automated External Defibrillator (AED) - UNKNOWN Unknown 90 Days
- CRT-First Aid - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days
