Under the direction of a medical physicist and a radiation oncologist, uses knowledge of treatment planning techniques and the physical characteristics of equipment utilized, to accurately acquire and interpret patient data and generate/coordinate individualized treatment plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a Physical/Life Science or radiation therapy program
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Dosimetry JRCERT accredited program of at least 12 months
- 5 years of relevant experience Radiation Oncology as a Medical Dosimetrist
- CRT-Medical Dosimetrist - MDCB Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board Upon Hire required
