Job Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for assessing and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders in children and adults. They must evaluate referred patients, establish patient and family centered goals and develop and execute treatment plans to promote or maximize independence in the discharged setting.
Requirements
- Master's Degree, Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in adult/children neurological speech and language disorders
- Licensure in Speech Pathology-Michigan
