Associate IP Architect

The Associate IP Architect reports to the Director of IP Architecture and works alongside the IP Architect to support the engineering design authority for Speedcast’s IP-based network platforms. The role takes ownership of defined technical domains and develops domain-specific standards, reference designs, and implementation patterns.

Requirements

• Reports to the Director, IP Architecture
• Takes ownership of one or more assigned technical domains
• Develops domain-specific standards, reference architectures, and build guidelines
• Translates high-level architectural decisions into detailed designs
• Conducts proof-of-concept testing and lab validation
• Serves as primary technical reference for IP Engineering and third-party implementation partners
• Supports design reviews and validates that deliverables meet architectural standards
• Assists in defining technical scope and deliverable standards for internal and third-party engineering engagements
• Contributes to change management and deployment methodologies
• Provides domain-specific technical input to Product and Systems Engineering
• Supports IP Architect in pre-sales technical validation and develops reusable design patterns
