System Engineer

Spektrum is seeking a System Engineer to provide professional and technical contributions to the design, development, and execution of DCIS engineering projects. The role involves supporting junior staff, providing DCIS engineering support, and planning, scheduling, and leading technical support teams in support of projects and exercises.

Requirements

• At least 5 years' experience supporting and implementing in deployable or large enterprise environments
• Recent experience with centralized storage systems, virtualization technologies, Microsoft Windows Server, and Redhat Linux Operating Systems
• Expertise in Directory, Identity and Access Management, DNS resolution, server hardening, and Active Directory troubleshooting
• High Availability Systems, Windows patching, and anti-malware update systems
• Active participation in a DevOps team with experience of Bash or PowerShell scripting languages, automation and orchestration tools
• Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles and ITIL IT service management mode
