Apprentice Development Engineer

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation is seeking an Apprentice Development Engineer to join their team. The role involves a combination of academic learning and hands-on workplace experience, contributing to projects alongside experienced engineers and leading independent projects with dedicated support. The apprentice will spend the first 12 months rotating through each department to develop a broad understanding of the business, and then dedicate their time to the Engineering department.

Requirements

• Three A- Levels achieved or predicted, A* - C or 9-4 (including Mathematics and Science) or equivalent
• Secured placement with Chichester University as part of the apprenticeship
• A fast learner with strong logical and analytical skills, applying a thorough and methodical approach to problem-solving
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well with others
• IT proficient, with the ability to learn new systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A keen interest in Engineering Design and Electronics
