Medical Director (Addiction Medicine)

Spero Health is seeking an Addiction Medicine Medical Director to join their team, offering comprehensive outpatient opioid addiction treatment services. This role involves clinical oversight, patient education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care to patients in London, Somerset, and Monticello. Spero Health operates as a large OBOT provider focused on both physical and behavioral healthcare.

Requirements

• Provide clinical oversight to providers.
• Provide initial evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing support for patients with complex addiction and substance-related health conditions.
• Complete full and appropriate documentation.
• Provide education regarding illness and prognosis to assist with patient and family care.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team.
• Patient follow-up visits and communication with PCP/specialists.
• Maintain required licensure, certifications, and CME credits.
• Physical presence on-site 25% of time.
