The CDL Class A Tour Manager will travel full-time in South Carolina, partnering with SPEVCO's Event Operations team and a Brand Ambassador to produce engaging Workforce Development events at high schools. The role requires a Class A CDL, strong safety mindset, and ability to engage with high school students.

- A valid Class A CDL driver's license with a clean driving record and a valid DOT Medical Certificate is required
- 2 years of Class A driving experience, operating 53' trailers, preferred
- Must hold a Class A CDL from the state of South Carolina
- Clean criminal and motor vehicle background
- Some schools and/or school systems may require that you consent to additional background checks before arriving on-site
- Experience with moving and setting up custom expandable event trailers, strongly preferred
- Comfortable with limited public speaking in front of small groups and interacting with students between the ages of 13 to 18
- Strong client service skills and a desire to help our clients achieve their goals and make a positive impact in your community
- Pleasant and positive customer service skills (simply communicating in a kind way)
- Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical and technology problems with SPEVCO’s expert support
- Ability to self-manage, and work independently and as part of a team
- Computer skills – Ability to use a tablet computer (Android-based), email, MS Suite, various Web-Based applications, ELDs, etc
- Willingness to maintain a "show-ready" clean and safe vehicle and exhibit
- Physical & Mental Requirements: Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move 50-100 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, lift, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
