Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to support our Project Operations team in a hands-on site-based role, ensuring construction works are undertaken in a way that prevents environmental incidents and meets all project, regulatory and permitting requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years' experience in environmental management (construction/engineering/manufacturing experience highly regarded)
- Strong working knowledge of environmental legislation and best practice frameworks, including EPA requirements and ISO 14001
- Demonstrated experience in environmental monitoring and environmental impact assessments
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate environmental risks
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement capability
- Well organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
- Positive, proactive approach with a strong commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement
