Job Description
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, assists PT's in providing services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from all types of orthopedic injuries and diseases. Provides manual therapy techniques, administers and supervises exercises and activities, and applies pain modalities. Records patient responses and reports outcomes to the physical therapist.
Requirements
- Associate degree in an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Minimum one year of experience, preferably in a clinic setting
- New York license
- Current CPR certificate
