Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team working at the forefront of space technology. The role will involve leading and coordinating cross-functional engineering teams, developing project schedules and technical documentation, and managing engineering change processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of systems engineering principles and space mission lifecycle, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or space systems engineering, including prior experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams or programs
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Primavera) and ideally certified PM (e.g. IPMA, PMP)
- Language skills: German (native), English (C1 level)
- Eligibility to work in Germany / EU
- Knowledge and experience working with governmental contracts and related security requirements
