Pricing Engineering Manager

At SpotHero, we're looking for a Pricing Engineering Manager to lead a key squad focused on pricing. The manager will partner with Product to set direction, ship quality software, and drive team growth. The role involves managing a full-stack engineering squad, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices, building partnerships, and developing team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer working on distributed systems in Python, Java, Kotlin, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience managing engineers, ideally on small, fast-moving squads.
• Clear communication, a bias toward action, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• A track record of building resilient systems and leading teams through scaling challenges.
• Comfortable working in our stack or learning quickly: Java/Python/Go, React, Postgres, AWS, Kubernetes.
