Backend Engineer- Release

The Backend Engineer-Release role in the Platform team creates technology to enable Spotify to learn quickly and scale easily. The team builds tools, systems, and workflows that enable Spotify engineers to release software safely, quickly, and with confidence.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building backend systems in a production environment
• Experience with Java and comfort working in backend service architectures
• Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and how to design reliable services
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery practices
• Familiarity with system design principles and building scalable backend systems
• Collaboration and open feedback
• Comfortable working in agile teams and contributing to continuous improvement
• Experience with infrastructure, platform engineering, and developer tooling
