Senior Editor, Indonesia

We are looking for an experienced Senior Editor for Indonesia to join Spotify's Music Editorial team based in Jakarta. In this role, you will contribute to various music-related projects, provide deep cultural and musical insights, and drive artist discovery through editorial ecosystems and playlists.

Requirements

• At least 8+ years of experience in the music industry, journalism, programming/curating music for digital, radio, TV, or other media outlets
• Deep knowledge of music and culture, with broad expertise across all genres and styles
• Ability to curate music for diverse moods and moments
• Skilled at leveraging data and audience insights to support editorial decisions
• Strong editorial voice and cultural awareness
• Confident storyteller and public speaker, fluent in English and Mandarin
• Excellent communicator, capable of connecting with audiences through written, video, or audio commentary
