Job Description
Spotify is seeking a Senior Research Scientist to join their Artist-First AI Music lab, pioneering cutting-edge generative technologies for music. This role focuses on building new listening experiences that center artists and fans, prioritizing artist and songwriter contributions and a fair compensation model. The lab aims to deepen artist-fan connections within the large-scale music listening platform.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in generative modeling, machine learning, music information retrieval, or related areas
- Publications in relevant communities like ICASSP, ISMIR, INTERSPEECH
- Strong coding skills in Python, PyTorch, and NumPy
- Strong problem-solving skills and passion for product development
- Enthusiasm about learning about research into scaling products
- Ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
