Job Description
Spotify is seeking a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer to focus on recommender systems at the intersection of generative AI and foundational personalization. The role involves developing, testing, and refining Spotify's personalization products, building next-generation content representations, and shaping the direction of Home loading paradigms. This is an individual contributor role offering the opportunity to contribute to both ML development and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Strong background in machine learning and recommender systems
- Production experience with Java, Scala, Python, or similar languages
- Hands-on experience training and operating transformer models
- Ability to lead projects from start to finish
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
