Job Description
Spotify is seeking a Staff Research Engineer to join its Artist-First AI Music lab, which focuses on developing innovative generative technologies for music. The role involves collaboration with research scientists, model training, optimization, production integration, code improvement, and researcher experience enhancement. The goal is to create products that prioritize artists' and fans' creative connection with AI. The position offers a remote work opportunity and a good balance of work hours.
Requirements
- Experience training or fine-tuning large machine learning models on GPUs
- Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Microsoft Azure
- Understanding of machine learning training code
- Effective communication with global teams
- Proficiency in computer science concepts (type systems, compilers, parallelism)
