Sr. or Lead Market Design Analyst (Remote Eligible)

Southwest Power Pool is seeking a Sr. or Lead Market Design Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping and analyzing market design within SPP. The position involves collaborating with multiple working groups, engaging with market participants, vendors, FERC, and other RTOs/ISOs to influence market policy and design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, or other related field
• 5-10 years of job-related experience (Sr. or Lead Market Design Analyst)
• Proficient at organizing and conducting technical and analytical studies
• Knowledge of electric market concepts and ability to apply understanding
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and public speaking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Competence with communication and data handling software such as Microsoft Office
