Staff Engineer

Spreetail is a high-performing technology organization that values innovation, ownership, and collaboration. The Staff Software Engineer is responsible for architecting and building a brand-new, scalable platform that enables business-critical ecommerce capabilities.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep expertise in data platform engineering, backend systems, and front-end application development
• Proven experience building or significantly contributing to e-commerce SaaS platforms
• Strong backend development experience (Python)
• Strong frontend development experience (React)
• Experience designing RESTful or GraphQL APIs
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and system design
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code
• Knowledge of secure software design principles
