Job Description
Spreetail is building a scalable platform for ecommerce capabilities. The Staff Software Engineer will design and launch a production-ready platform, establish foundational architecture, and drive engineering standards.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of professional software engineering experience
- Deep expertise in data platform engineering, backend systems, and front-end application development
- Proven experience building or significantly contributing to e-commerce SaaS platforms
- Experience working in high-growth, scaling environments
- Strong backend development experience (Python)
- Strong frontend development experience (React)
- Experience designing RESTful or GraphQL APIs
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and system design
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code
- Knowledge of secure software design principles
