Job Description
BASIS Independent Schools is seeking a qualified candidate for an Early Education Teaching Fellow to assist lead teachers in creating a joyful and rewarding learning environment for young students. The position involves floating between classes, supporting student academic progress, and helping build a positive school culture. The successful candidate will have opportunities for growth and professional development within the BASIS Independent Schools network.
Requirements
- Assist teachers with classroom management
- Student academic support and tutoring
- Assist classroom teachers with events, labs, and testing
- Working with teachers in evaluating student progress and gains
- Proctoring assessments
- Monitoring and managing student's non-scheduled time
- Monitoring and managing study groups
- Coordinating homework and assignments for absent students
- Assisting Directors of Student Affairs and Deans with managing behavior and discipline
- Assisting Directors of Academic Programs with execution of key programs
