Job Description
BASIS Independent Bothell is seeking a qualified Physical Education Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The teacher will develop engaging lesson plans, teach students about exercise and sporting skills, and collaborate with other Subject Expert Teachers to enhance student learning.
Requirements
- Develop engaging, content-rich subject-specific lesson plans
- Teach students about different types of exercise, sporting skills, attitude, and health topics
- Collaborate with other Subject Expert Teachers to incorporate and enhance student learning
- Prepare subject-specific lessons in Physical Education
- Implement BASIS Curriculum by designing effective and creative lessons and assessments
- Tutor students in content-specific knowledge and skills
- Manage student behavior to foster academic achievement and personal responsibility
