Medical Assistant (Surgery Center)

Medical Assistants at Spring Fertility engage with patients and provide exceptional care, working closely with physicians and supporting the patient experience. They balance direct patient care with administrative tasks and maintain the Operating Room/ASC.

Requirements

• Direct Patient care
• Prioritize and triage patient flow in OR
• Assists physician with all procedures
• Performs phlebotomy
• Maintains Operating Room/ASC
• Prepares operating room for procedures
• Disinfects and cleans OR between patients and at end of the day
• Completion of daily cleaning and supply ordering/inventory checklists
• Autoclaves with an acceptable sterile technique
• Keeps logs updated daily as per guideline requirement
• Ensures all opening and closing protocols are executed effectively
• Assists nurses with tasks regarding additional OR needs
