JS-U26-9 Youth Worker

The JS-U26-9 Youth Worker position is a part-time, permanent role that involves working with youth who have experienced trauma, providing education and employment support, and creating a safe and healthy work environment. The role requires a diploma in the Social Sciences, Child and Youth Care, or Social Work, and a minimum of one year of experience working with youth who have experienced trauma.

Requirements

• Diploma in the Social Sciences, Child and Youth Care, or Social Work
• Minimum one year experience working with youth who have experienced trauma in their lives from a trauma-informed framework
• Demonstrated experience in crisis prevention and intervention
• Valid G driver's license
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• A demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders effectively, respectfully, and efficiently with minimal supervision
