Early Childhood Teacher Preschool

Develop and implement activities and lesson plans for 3-5 year old children in a preschool program. Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field or Child Development Associate Credential and one year experience related to caring for children required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred.
• NYS Teacher Certification preferred.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating education lesson plans and/or working in a licensed childcare facility preferred.
• Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and e-mail applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word; have the aptitude to learn other computer software as necessary.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50 lbs.
