Job Description
The Ambulatory Surgery Center Registered Nurse- Operating Room is responsible for professional nursing care of the surgical patient, ensuring patient safety and achievement of total patient-centered care. This role involves routine nursing duties like circulating, scrubbing, maintaining the facility, and assisting with surgeries. The position focuses on maintaining a sterile environment, adhering to safety protocols, and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Three-five years of comparable nursing experience (preferred)
- Licenses as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois
- CPR certification per American Heart Association guidelines
- ACLS certification per American Heart Association guidelines
