Job Description
The Certified Medical Assistant assists physicians and other healthcare professionals in direct and indirect patient care. This role involves organizing medical records, scheduling appointments, providing patient education, and following clinic policies and procedures. The position reports to the Operations Manager and ensures excellent customer service.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program.
- Maintain RMA, CMA or NCMA credentials.
- CPR certification per American Heart Association guidelines.
- Working in an office setting during clinic hours.
- Minimal lifting.
