Job Description
The Certified Surgical Technician (IPT) provides assistance during surgery by managing the OR environment, passing instruments, draping, and assisting the nursing staff. Responsibilities include sterilizing instruments, preparing rooms, and advising the supervisor on equipment repairs. This role contributes to patient safety and efficient surgical operations.
Requirements
- Graduate from an OR technician program or equivalent training.
- CST Certification in the State of Illinois
- CPR certification per American Heart Association guidelines.
