Job Description
This Physical Therapist Assistant - Specialty position is responsible for evaluating and providing treatment to patients, implementing treatment programs, monitoring patient progress, and communicating with referring physicians. The role involves performing evaluations, therapeutic exercises, and providing patient education. This position requires maintaining a clean and organized work environment and adhering to all safety and clinic procedures.
Requirements
- Assist in performing evaluation procedures and planning treatment programs.
- Rule out contra-indications to treatment.
- Perform electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, traction and massage techniques.
- Administer therapeutic exercises.
- Monitor the effects of treatment and modify techniques.
- Document progress reports.
- Schedule appointments and maintain daily attendance.
