Requirements

• Provides physical therapy services and interventions within the scope of practice of the PTA and per the IL PTA Practice Act.
• Provides patient/caregiver education regarding diagnosis, therapeutic activities, and treatment plans.
• Effectively documents daily treatments and progress notes to support each patient's individualized plan of care.
• Administers billing for physical therapy services provided per state and federal laws and individual insurance rules.
• Collaborates with other licensed therapists, PTs, and PTAs together to provide exceptional patient care.
