Job Description
ACCEL Schools is hiring a 6th/7th Grade Teacher at Springfield Sports Academy in Springfield, Ohio. The successful candidate will be passionate and dedicated to providing a superior education for all students. The school combines competitive sport training with accredited academics, and the teacher will be responsible for preparing and delivering lesson plans, differentiating instruction, and creating a positive classroom environment.
Requirements
- Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
- High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to properly manage confidential information
- Able to supervise students of various ages in different school settings
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks
- Experience working within an urban environment
