Job Description
We are seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Engineer to support the migration and modernization of mission-critical applications within AWS GovCloud (US). The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of secure cloud environments supporting federal/government workloads.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering or related infrastructure roles
- Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud
- Experience migrating on-premises workloads to cloud environments (lift-and-shift preferred)
- Experience in managing Windows Server environments
- Familiarity with core AWS fundamentals such as: VPC design and networking fundamentals, IAM and least-privilege access controls, backup and disaster recovery strategies
- Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
