Fundamental Equity Research Analyst

Squarepoint Services US LLC seeks a Fundamental Equity Research Analyst to analyze companies and stocks under coverage and make investment recommendations.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance or related of study
• 5 years of experience as a Equity Researcher, Senior Sector Specialist, Research Associate or related position for an investment/asset management organization
• Deep coverage expertise in Software subsectors
• Generating long and short ideas over various time horizons
• Conducting bottom-up fundamental equity research on private and public companies across Software
• Creating and maintaining single stock models using key metrics/stock drivers
• Conducting financial statements analysis and constructing valuation framework
• Conducting primary diligence, surveys, and channel checks
• Leveraging and incorporating Alternative data sets into the investment process
• Delivering stock recommendations
• Experiences with quantamental research or quantitative analytical approaches
• Hosting company meetings with management
• Attending user conferences and conducting field study and customer/partner checks
• Risk management and tactical trading
