Job Description
SquareTrade is a leading company in the warranty and insurance industry, looking for a motivated and energetic Software Engineer to join their Agile team. The successful candidate will have opportunities for achievement and growth, working with a fast-paced Agile XP environment, pair programming, and TDD. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance microservices and APIs using modern frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related majors
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and microservices framework
- Exposure to Generative AI technologies and use cases
- Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writes high-quality, testable code
