Vascular Sonographer

Performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging studies in the vascular lab, requiring a graduate of an approved vascular ultrasound program and registry through ARDMS or CCI, with one year of ultrasound imaging experience preferred.

Requirements

• Completion of Sonography program and 2 or more ARDMS or CCI registries in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast, Echo, or Vascular.
• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification.
• Computer skills, ability to answer phones using proper phone etiquette, and skills to compile statistics and paperwork.
