Requirements
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned Spanish instruction for K4–6th and 9th grade students
- Foster language acquisition, cultural understanding, and communication skills through engaging, interactive, and immersive lessons
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs, providing whole-group, small-group, and individualized support
- Monitor, assess, and document student learning through formative and summative assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administrators to align instruction, participate in school-wide initiatives, and contribute to cultural events and celebrations
- Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment
- Manage classroom behavior in a consistent and effective manner, promoting courage, respect, integrity, and perseverance
- Serve as the cultural and spiritual model for their students, always interacting respectfully and striving to demonstrate God’s love to their students and families
- Effectively communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, behavior, and needs
- Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students
