Direct Support Professional (Adult Program Assistant) responsible for the safety and well being of adult program participants with intellectual disabilities. Requires patience, compassion, and the desire to help individuals with disabilities become self-sufficient.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience working with people with intellectual disabilities
- Age 18 or older
- Special skills in cooking, weaving, gardening, textile, or fine arts (optional)
- Ability to fulfill physical requirements of the work
