We are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mörfelden-Walldorf. The successful candidate will design and develop mechatronic systems, integrate, and system test. Close collaboration with Electrical, Mechanical, and Software departments is required.
Requirements
- Completed studies in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering/Automation Technology or a comparable field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience (ideal: 7-10 years) in the AGV/AMR or automation field with a focus on driverless transport systems.
- Strong interdisciplinary thinking, structured and documentation-safe working method, and clear communication.
- High level of independence and sense of responsibility in an interdisciplinary team.
- Deep understanding of CE/Machinery Directive and ISO 3691-4 (derivation, implementation, validation).
- Experience in functional safety and Safety-PLC programming (preferably SICK Flexi Soft).
- SPS/PLC knowledge - an advantage.
- Knowledge of field buses such as EtherCAT and CAN/CANopen - an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of drive and control technology and frequency converters - an advantage.
- EPLAN knowledge - secure in reading, maintaining, and structuring circuit diagrams.
- Basic knowledge of 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and rapid prototyping/3D printing - an advantage.
- Very good German language skills for working with electricians, mechanics, and production teams.
