Job Description
The Boys Varsity Basketball Head Coach is responsible for leading the Varsity Team, supervising assistant coaches, and implementing a basketball program that aligns with Sacramento High School's vision and expectations.
Requirements
- Ensure varsity student-athletes adhere to the athletic department's vision and expectation
- Teach and develop positive character traits and sportsmanship
- Monitor eligibility
- Teach and develop fundamentals and work ethic
- Collaborate with Athletic Director to coordinate transportation
- Identify and coordinate tournaments
- Coordinating award ceremonies and presentations
- Create and maintain a realistic budget
- Serve as liaison between Sacramento High School and athletic league and represent Sacramento High School at required meetings
