Director of Philanthropy (Los Angeles / Santa Ana)

ALSAC is looking for a Director of Philanthropy to manage major and principal gifts and planned giving. The ideal candidate will have a background in philanthropy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of children. The role is vital in advancing ALSAC's goals, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring the organization meets its critical objectives.

Requirements

• Develop and implement strategies to ensure ALSAC meets its critical goals and supports overall business objectives
• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of professionals
• Manage a portfolio of major gift donors through identification, discovery, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship
• Establish and enforce policies and procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness
• Maintain awareness of fundraising programs and hospital initiatives
