Admissions Assessor - Substance Use Disorders

Admissions Assessor - Substance Use Disorders role involves assessing clients/families in a professional and timely manner, providing therapeutic services, and coordinating care. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and experience in addressing clinical matters.

Requirements

• Screens and Assesses clients/families in a professional, thorough and timely fashion
• Triages clients who require services other than Outpatient
• Provides clinically related tasks such as correspondence and completion of managed care forms
• Manages pre-certifications and other insurance and/or county related requirements for authorizing care
• Completes all required documentation within the standard time frames
• Maintains confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/ Entity as well as the proper release of information
• Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements
