Admissions Assessor - Substance Use Disorders role involves assessing clients/families in a professional and timely manner, providing therapeutic services, and coordinating care. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and experience in addressing clinical matters.
Requirements
- Screens and Assesses clients/families in a professional, thorough and timely fashion
- Triages clients who require services other than Outpatient
- Provides clinically related tasks such as correspondence and completion of managed care forms
- Manages pre-certifications and other insurance and/or county related requirements for authorizing care
- Completes all required documentation within the standard time frames
- Maintains confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/ Entity as well as the proper release of information
- Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements
